Subject ROTI, KAPDA, AUR MAKKAN

Dear Sir,

We are giving sincere suggestions for the 2010 budget, we pray this things are brought into force soonest in marcg 2010 1.reduce import duties on all food items from high rate of 30% to flat 10%, make import procedures very fast at all ports, there must be a mechnaism, when ever prices go up too much, import duties on that reduce at once, spices, dryfruits, pulses, imports must be allowed at very nominal import duties 2.vat taxes in all states must be uniform, here also food items must be classified in new category and charged only 2% vat, presently dryfruits are not having uniform taxes, in north india vat is 4% on dryfruits, but in south states at 12.5%, this is crazy, this leads to huge vat evasion, high consumption goods must fall at 2% only 3.govt must set up huge garment parks with tax holidays, this will give huge jobs, and clthing to poor people, exports will increase , which is very good for india, we have plenty of cheap labour unutilised, this needs highest attention,we suggest to give tax incentives to private operators who set up garment parks in tier 2 and 3 cities 4.low budget housing is a very big industry, this will provide indirect jobs to millions people, create good infrastructures, this will lead to development of remote areas were lands are very cheap too.developers must be given benfits, buying of land must be easier, taxes must be lowst on low budget housing, this is need of the hour, cheap funds to me made avaliable to developers who can provide very competitive houses to poor we hope this reaches our finance minister.
