In INCOME TAX every year the FIANANCE MINISTER is announcing benefits for working women to empower the women. This is beneficial only to the workingwomen. What about the men whoes wives are not in service or not an earning member. The cost of cosmetics and other expenditure pertaining to a women will be the same for non working women also. Please note the scuh expenditure is also to be borne by the husband only. Is it not an anomaly not giving the benfit to the women not in service. Suggession: The income of the husband whose wife is not in service or non working are also to be given the benefit given to the serving women i.e such husbands to be given additional standard deductions of Rs.30000 [Rupees thirty thousand only] to take care the demands and needs of their wives as had been given to them if they were in service. The difference in tax slab between men and women to be given to the men whose wives are not in service. Sir, I hope the finance minister will take care of these while presenting the budget and give justice to all the concerned.
