Central Government has subsidized loans for farmers and also provided debt relief in last relief. But Central Government is ignoring the education part of agricultural sector. I expect the finance minister to provide scholarships to students pursuing agricultural and allied courses with better effect and implementation. Priority sector lending norms allocates 18 % credit to agriculture but there is a need to reserve specific credit for educational loans to students pursuing agricultural and allied courses. There is a need to attract more talent to agriculture sector to enhance the research work in agricultural sector. With encouragement of more talent to pursue agricultural studies by scholarships or subsidized educational loans will create another wave of revolution and a step forward for the prosperity of the Indian farmer.
