R.Nandakumar, Salem

The Budget need to look into the removal of an anomaly in taxing the Senior Citizens. Age should be brought to 60 years from the exhisting 65 years. After retirement for many the income becomes half if he is getting pension. Other non Govt employees depend solely on their P.F and Gratuties accumulated. At present they are forced to allot a portion of their income to save tax till they obtain sixty five years. The budget should not only remove this anomaly but also give a higher relief of taxable income for these people.
