TIME TO REMOVE THRESHOLD LIMITSNew Goods and Service Act is a well-coming gesture to bring the goods under single taxation. Change is for betterment. Once the Act is introduced it will exhume Central Excise, VAT and other Taxes. All the Small and Medium Industries appeal to remove the threshold limits, so that they can have Vision about the future and can think for Long term plan to stabilize and grow and compete at National and International level. Threshold limits are obstacles to plan for Long term planning, because of high fluctuations in metal prices due to various reasons. We have witnessed unusual changes in metal prices. If the prices go higher, the Units have to cut down their labour and production, because the finished product of the units can’t compete from the neighbour manufacturers once they reach threshold limits. Change is for betterment, So, better to remove the threshold limits for 10 years and you can witness the phenomenal growth which can add GDP and help in solving the unemployment problem. We can take the edge of advantage of low cost labour and with the long term plan, we can compete in the International market. It will solve the hastles of confusion to the consumer and remove once again the license Raj.
