Subject: BUDGET EXPECTATION

Respected Finance Minister,
With a humble request, I wish to bring the following few lines for your kind perusal and to implement the same in the ensuing Budget. You are giving more benefit to the women employees by giving higher slabs than men for I T rates there by you are giving benefit to those who are having and forgetting about the have not’s.Mostly women employees will come under tax net after a few years of service by which time they will be married and both husband and wife are earning and you are giving for such a family still higher benefit. In a non working women case only the husband is earning and he has to pay tax and also maintain the family. In a single earning family they are entitled to have income tax free limit up to Rs 160000/-Where in both husband and wife earning family they have income tax free limit up to Rs 160000/- + Rs 190000/- = Rs 350000/-. With this they can give better education to their children, lead a comfortable life, can buy house / sites / car and so on. A family where only husband is earning, it is not possible. In such cases you have to club the income of a family and tax them OR you have to give more benefit to a single man earning family and not for woman to please them. If you really wish to please the women you can give more relief/ benefit of tax for single earning family which will indirectly make the women happy (I think the non earning women are more than working women)
