Given the present scenario, FM needs to concentrate on the making adequate provisions for basic amenities & provide more funds for followings – Food Security: as per government statics around 40% people of India are still below poverty line & the way prices of foods items have increased, the problems of these people needs to be addressed. PDS is a failure & FM has to accept it. Internal Security: our country is treated as a soft target. I hope FM will make adequate provision in budget to improve internal security situation. Affordable Housing: government to make provisions i.e. tax benefits to builders / customers, funds to builders at concessional rates etc to lower down the overall cost of construction. Infrastructural development for Agri: till today above 70% Indians are engaged in agricultural (directly / indirectly) but still do not have adequate infrastructure i.e. we depend on rain, lack storage units, stocks purchased by government agencies are eaten up by rodents.
