The finance Minister has to make the 2010 budget as farmar oriented.Doing agriculture is becominig highly difficult and risky.The ryots having good cultivable land and who are doing this activity for a long are forced to stop and migrate to the nearby towns in search of livelihood which is very dangerous to the economyThe main problems of the farmars are -The cost of production has been increased,electicity is being supplied at irregular intervals,no remunerative prices for the products leading to suicidal deaths.Thanks to the debt waiver announced two years ago which baled out several lakhs of rural families from the debt burden.I request PRANABJI to abolish all kinds of taxes on farm equipments right from the tractors down to small implement,make agrl credit available at 4 percent interest irrespective of the amount,make all kinds of fertilisers and pesticides available with subsidised prices,construct gowdowns and cold storages in all mandal/taluk head quarters to enable the farmers to store their products free of charge till they get remunerative prices.Drip irrigation which is now available with 90 % subsidy has to be given free of cost inview of the advantages involved.
